Par 4. Men 264 m, ladies 246 m
This is the easiest hole on the course, with a level and straight fairway. Just one large tree to be dodged by the men.

Par 4. Men 346 m, ladies 326 m
Quite a long par 4 with the green only just visible from the tee. Trees along the right for those so inclined.

Par 4. Men and ladies 313 m
A relatively short par 4, so why is it called Luck? Perhaps because you need luck to avoid the lake sitting attractively out to the right? Golf balls are round, and so is the earth, and they attract each other quite strongly. Since the earth has 71% of its surface in water, it seems reasonable to deduce that this lake will attract your ball.

Par 4. Men 355 m, ladies 295 m
Named "Blacks" after the original name for Ophir, a small neighbouring village. Gold was discovered on the property of a local farmer, Charles Black.
There is a bunker on the right, just at drivable length and, wouldn't you know it, that pesky lake is lurking out of sight on the right, waiting for the wayward ball.

Men par 4, 376 m. Ladies par 5, 388 m
Characterised by a relatively narrow fairway, just on driveable length, so you need to be rather accurate off the tee. It is named 'Tiger Hill' after the hill which you can see beyond the green as you approach.

Par 3. Men and ladies 141 m
This is a short par 3, but what a par 3!! Sure, you can see the green from the tee and it's not very far away. But how to get on to it, and how to stay there? That's the question.
(Actually, the name of the hole refers to the fact that toilet facilities are available here!)

Par 4. Men 331 m, ladies 290 m
You can blast off the tee, over the hill and there's a fair chance that you'll be in the middle of the fairway.

Par 5. Men 467 m, ladies 431 m
Hawkduns is the men's first and only par 5 and it's not too bad as par 5s go. Down hill for the first half, so you can let rip with your driver. Just dodge the trees on the right, unless you wish to try for a short cut through them.
